Studio 301 maintains a refund and return policy that extends for 30 days from the date of purchase. If more than 30 days have elapsed since your purchase, we are unable to offer a full refund or exchange. Please note that once production begins on custom orders, including printing or digital processing, no refunds will be approved, even if within the 30-day period.

To qualify for a return, the item must be unused, in the same condition as received, and packaged in its original packaging. By completing your payment, you authorize Studio 301 or its designated agent to collect marketing materials on your behalf, including but not limited to headshots, comp cards, business cards, and similar items.

Non-Returnable Items
The following items are exempt from returns due to their custom nature. Even though our policy allows refunds within 30 days, if the printing or production of any of these products has started, refunds cannot be processed:

  • Theatrical Headshots
  • Commercial Headshots
  • Zed/Comp Cards
  • Actor/Model/Singer Business Cards
  • Custom USB Cards (credit card-sized USB drives containing talent pictures)
  • Custom Talent Folders
  • Media Stickers (items featuring a QR code linking to a website with talent pictures)
  • Professional Voice-Over Audio Edition (as a custom digital product, no refunds apply once audio files are completed, as the studio enhances the audio and adds sound effects to create a professional voice-over)
  • Free Slate Edition (video edited with the talent’s acting slate for their portfolio)
  • E-books (a physical tablet product containing talent videos and pictures; once shipped or picked up, it cannot be refunded unless returned in the same condition it was received; if defective, Studio 301 will typically replace the product rather than issue a refund)

Return Requirements
A receipt or proof of purchase is required to process any return. Items should not be returned directly to the manufacturer.

Partial Refund Conditions
Partial refunds may be granted in the following circumstances:

  • Printed materials (e.g., headshots or comp cards) exhibiting clear signs of use.
  • Custom USB Cards or E-books with damaged components not due to studio error.
  • Items not in their original condition, damaged, or missing parts due to reasons unrelated to our error.
  • Items returned more than 30 days after delivery.
    For Talent Agencies: We will provide proof of your materials via email. If we do not receive a response with requested modifications within three (3) days of sending the email, we will proceed with printing and shipping the materials as prepared, even if the submitted photo is of low quality. If printing begins within the 30-day period, no refunds will be approved for those printed items.

Refund Process
Upon receiving and inspecting your returned item, we will notify you via email of its receipt and the approval or denial of your refund request. If the printing or production process for any items has started within the 30-day period, no refund will be approved for those items, even if the return is otherwise within policy. If approved for non-produced items, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your original payment method within 7-10 business days.

Delayed or Missing Refunds
If you have not yet received your refund, please first verify your bank account. Next, contact your credit card provider, as processing times may vary before the refund is posted. Then, reach out to your bank, as additional processing delays may occur. If you have followed these steps and still have not received your refund, please email us at [email protected].

Sale Items
Only items purchased at regular price are eligible for a refund, subject to the conditions above. Sale or discounted items are non-refundable.

Exchanges
We offer replacements solely for items that arrive defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, please email us at [email protected] and ship your item to: 534 S Main St, Los Angeles, CA 90013.

Shipping Returns
To return an item, please mail it to: 534 S Main St, Los Angeles, CA 90013. You are responsible for covering the shipping costs associated with returning your item, which are non-refundable. If a refund is issued, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from the total. Delivery times for exchanged items may vary based on your location. For high-value returns, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item.
